this is quiet interesting: it will depend on the type of accident. for example when it explodes on air, everything reduces to ash. when it lands wrongly, in many a times there will be damage on the body parts of the plane but the passengers may or may not suffer much depending on whether their safety belt was on or not.
In short, planes have the best safety precautions than any other moving object. for example you can safely jump from aplane burning on air using a parachute and land safely.
Dear Ngrj
Plane crashes are widely and extensively reported, often dominating the news.
and with over 100,000 flights taking place each day , it’s natural there should be a huge appetite for as much information on aviation accidents and safety as possible; i too want to know…
To get an understanding of the odds, Lets breaks down some figures
“In 2016 there were about 163 aviation ‘accidents’ worldwide, including those involving business jets and military transports as well as jet and propeller airliners.
“A grand total of 24 resulted in fatalities, meaning only about 15 per cent of all accidents in this grouping – which themselves are extremely rare events – actually resulted in lives being lost.”
