So, from my one sentence above about my work you can see that I do research and train STEM.
Through technical research, I draw suggestions and do practical experiments and activities. I’m pretty sure you all know that technology is changing almost on a daily basis. Technology has made it possible to telecommute, do tasks from virtual offices and communicate with businesses and individual’s people all over the globe. It’s also evident where industries are using automated systems to maximise on their production, for example automobile manufacturers have started using robots in their cars assembly level, Flexible work schedules are popular because so many duties and responsibilities such as switching and monitoring can be accomplished anywhere in the globe. Through my research I am able to gain technological know-how e.g. in the Internet of Things, Big data projects and come up with new prototypes for new innovations.
I have a passion in training STEM education. STEM stands for science technology engineering and mathematics. STEM is really important because it pervades every part of our lives. In the 21st century, scientific and technological innovations have become increasingly important as we experience both the benefits and challenges of globalization in a knowledge-based economy. To succeed in this new and highly innovative society, young people need to develop their capabilities in STEM in order to level up with the present changes. STEM education natures student’s critical thinking, creativity, effective group work and open ways to better careers.
Always believe that you can do mighty things.

As a researcher and an educator in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, research is the key. I spend my time learning how stuff works, see how to improve it and experiment on my findings. As a technical scientist, it’s evident that I spend most of my time in the lab trying new scientific approaches. I would then document every step of my experiments and activities to come up with a final masterpiece.
However sometimes research may not be a straight forward procedure and you stumble upon new challenges in practical activities. These may need other solutions which may be out of your scope to solve it although it is helpful because you will end up learning more than you expected. Spending my time in libraries and visiting effective sources in the internet as well as putting some time aside to consults other tech gurus has been part of my day.
Finally, I would try out my final piece through prototyping. Prototyping is simply using the available resource to mimic a final product. In the engineering lab, I find the chance to work with development equipment, pocket sized computers and program them to perform certain tasks, like robots do.

The most important resource we have is the people we have in our society, coming up with new products requires teams in its value chain, hence this funding will be a source of employment to the skilled. Moreover coming up with solutions that will improve education ,medical, environment and infrastructure will positively affect everyone directly or indirectly through the scientist prize award . I will gear this prize towards the projects.
