the following are are the broader classes of engineering:
1. chemical engineering
2. civil engineering
3. electrical engineering
4. mechanical engineering
5. software engineering
6. system engineering
the above classes are further subdivided into numerous sub-division. for example in chemical engineering you can get the following:
1. biomolecular engineering
2. material engineering
3. process engineering
4. corrossion engineering etcthe same applies to other categories listed in the first section of this response.
