Question: which hurdles or mistakes did you find in high school that you encountered would like to inform us so that we can become better engineers in life

In high school there is always temptation to blind follow what others are doing which do not conform to good standards expected of students. this we call peer pressure. Avoid all forms of peer pressure by fellow students and constant ask the teacher to guide you when you are not sure that what you wish to do is correct.
Being a village boy, when i went to high school, i thought that sheng, and sagging trouser was a good fashion, I only later learnt that they were some of the childish things to do in high school. Try and learn how to communicate in proper english and dress always smart. this type of discipline is necessary for your success in anything.
The greatest thing also to remember is that you will be a much better person if you can always admit on things you do not know. ask to get answers and question things you dont understand so that you do them a clear premises of kniowledge and the correct knowledge. To know whether the knowledge you have is the correct one, just ask you teachers, parents, or student councillor

Dear Damien,
Thats a nice one; but first and foremost, remember we studied at different times, I was in high school in the 1980s late, and challenges come, and u must tackle them; but the most severest which never changes is PEER PRESSURE
When i was in form 1, some of the Form 4s from my village, having finished their exams, decided to sneak out for partying (local brew, muratina); and I followed; and after 2 cups, being my first time, I realised my legs were heavier and couldnt move. So when the villages reported to the Headmaster and he came for us, I couldnt run, infact i think i fainted and he put me in his car (mini morris) and took me to school dispensary where i got glucose and resurected (which i wished I didnt); and the canes I got the following monday, I almost died of “high temperature”; the headmaster told me if he catches me again he will kill me, and sure, from the temperature he was right, I could DIE!!!
And there since then, i became such a good boy, and that fear is wat drove me to the good boy youre seeing here now…
right?
